🧵 PEI Fashion Weekend — Our Can't-Miss Pick!

When: Friday, April 4 (7 PM) & Saturday, April 5 (all day)

Where: Various Locations, Charlottetown

Why Go: Who says potatoes can't be fashionable? Friday night brings a glamorous runway show ($50 tickets), while Saturday offers free pop-up shops and performances throughout downtown. 🏀 Junior East Wheelchair Basketball Championship — Family Pick!

When: Friday, April 4 - Sunday, April 6

Where: Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, UPEI

Why Go: Watch some truly incredible athletes show off their skills in this inspiring tournament. The gold medal game happens Sunday at 11 AM, and trust me – the energy and athleticism will blow you away. Perfect for showing the kiddos that determination comes in all forms (and wheels). Bonus: admission is free, and the concession stand makes a mean hot dog!

👩‍🌾 Kool Breeze Farms Spring Market — Free Entry!

When: Saturday, April 5 (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Where: Kool Breeze Farms, Summerside

Why Go: Nothing says "spring" quite like wandering through stalls of local crafts while pretending you're not still wearing thermal underwear. Entry is by donation, and you'll find everything from handmade jewelry to baked goods that'll make your grandmother question her recipes. Perfect for picking up unique Island treasures while supporting local makers!

🕺 SUPER TROUPER: A Night of ABBA

When: Friday & Saturday, April 4-5 (7:30 PM - 9:30 PM)

Where: Kings Playhouse, Georgetown

Why Go: Calling all Dancing Queens and Potato Kings! This tribute show will have you belting "Mamma Mia" like nobody's business. At $48.82 per ticket, it's cheaper than a time machine to the 70s, and the sequins alone are worth the price of admission. I'll be the one attempting high kicks during "Waterloo" – you've been warned.
