πΈ The Fabulously Rich: The Tragically Hip Tribute

Why Go: Get ready to belt out your favorite Hip tunes with this awesome tribute band. A true taste of Canadiana for your Saturday night. I'm not saying you should bring tissues for when they play "Ahead By A Century," but... actually, yes, I am saying exactly that. Find tickets here
π€ Echoes: A Night of Garth Brooks
When: Saturday, March 29, 2025 (7:30 PM)

Best Weather Day: Saturday is your golden opportunity for outdoor plans!
Tides: High tides at 6:15am and 6:42pm on Saturday, 7:03am and 7:31pm on Sunday. Low tides around noon and midnight both days - perfect for beachcombing! Full tide tables
π¦ΈββοΈ CHIP'S CRISPY OBSESSION OF THE WEEK
If you've never been to the Atlantic Entertainment Expo, you're in for a treat! This weekend extravaganza is PEI's answer to Comic-Con, bringing together gamers, anime fans, cosplayers, and pop culture enthusiasts under one roof.
![]() Captain Potato (aka yours truly) at last year's Expo. The cape is made of real potato sacks! | My insider tip? Don't miss the cosplay competition on Saturday afternoon. Last year, someone came as a eerily accurate Eleven from Stranger Things, and another Islander built a full Iron Man suit that actually lit up! Even if you're just people-watching, it's worth the price of admission. |
And speaking of admission, kids 12 and under get in FREE, making this our top family pick AND our can't-miss event of the weekend. How's that for efficiency?
π THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE, SPUDS!
Did I miss something awesome? Got a weekend event to share? Just reply to share your chips tips.
And if you see me at the Entertainment Expo (I'll be the one inexplicably dressed as a potato superhero), come say hi!
Stay crispy,
Chip π₯
